Wat zijn de afstanden?

Op de dag van het evenement kun je je afstand kiezen:

• 2,2 km
• 4,3 km
• 6,4 km

Draag je startnummer op je buik tijdens de run. Op de dag zelf kies je jouw afstand (2,2 km, 4,3 km of 6,4 km). Je ontvangt een gekleurde sticker die overeenkomt met jouw gekozen afstand. Deze sticker plak je vervolgens op je startbewijs. Geef bij de medewerkers bij het startpunt aan welke afstand je gaat lopen.

Waar kan ik mijn startbewijs ophalen?

Je kunt je startbewijs ophalen op donderdag 8 januari tussen 13:00 en 20:00 uur bij The Social Hub (Boterdiep 9, Groningen). Het ophalen vindt plaats bij de koffiebar aan de linkerkant bij binnenkomst. Een medewerker heeft een deelnemerslijst; laat een geldig identiteitsbewijs zien (ID-kaart, rijbewijs of paspoort) en je ontvangt je startbewijs. We vragen iedereen vriendelijk om het startbewijs binnen deze tijden op te halen. Als het echt niet lukt, kun je het de volgende dag nog ophalen, maar we vragen iedereen om bij voorkeur op de 8e te komen.

Wat moet ik doen als ik mijn startbewijs niet kan ophalen op 8 of 9 januari?

Dan kun je je startbewijs op de dag zelf ophalen bij de inschrijftafel. Vergeet niet je ID mee te nemen.

Waar en wanneer vindt de run plaats?

Op zondag 11 januari. Inloop vanaf 13:00 uur, de start is om 13:30 uur. Zorg dat je uiterlijk om 13:15 aanwezig bent, zodat je nog je sticker voor de gekozen afstand kunt ontvangen. Start en finish zijn op de atletiekbaan van het Stadspark (Mulock Houwerlaan 25).

Wat gebeurt er als de run wordt geannuleerd vanwege het weer?

Indien het evenement vanwege uitzonderlijke omstandigheden, zoals extreem weer, niet door kan gaan, wordt er geen restitutie verstrekt. In dat geval wordt de volledige opbrengst aan KiKa gedoneerd. Zie de algemene voorwaarden

Waar gaat de opbrengst precies naartoe?

De volledige opbrengst van het evenement gaat naar KiKa. Door mee te doen draag je bij aan belangrijk onderzoek naar kinderkanker.

Kan ik mijn inschrijving annuleren?

Als je je inschrijving wil annuleren en daardoor niet aanwezig kan zijn, wordt er geen restitutie verstrekt. De opbrengst gaat in dat geval naar KiKa. Zie de algemene voorwaarden.

Wat als het evenement niet kan doorgaan door uitzonderlijke omstandigheden?

Als het evenement niet kan plaatsvinden door uitzonderlijke omstandigheden, zoals extreem weer, wordt er geen restitutie verstrekt. De volledige opbrengst gaat dan naar KiKa. Zie de algemene voorwaarden.

Wat moet ik dragen?

Draag warme sportkleding, bij voorkeur in de kleuren van KiKa: oranje of paars.

Moet ik mijn eigen waterfles meenemen?

Ja, neem je eigen waterfles mee. Je kunt die tijdens het evenement vullen in het clubhuis.

Waar kan ik mijn spullen bewaren?

Je kunt je spullen in het clubhuis achterlaten. Dit is echter op eigen risico. We houden toezicht, maar laat waardevolle spullen bij voorkeur thuis.

What are the distances? 

On the day of the event, you can choose your distance:

Wear your starting number on your stomach during the run. On the day of the event, you can choose your distance (2.2 km, 4.3 km, or 6.4 km). You’ll receive a colored sticker representing your chosen distance, which you then place on your starting certificate. Simply inform the staff at the start collection point of your choice.

Where can I pick up my starting ticket?

You can pick up your starting certificate on Thursday, 8 January, between 13:00 and 20:00 at The Social Hub (Boterdiep 9, Groningen). Collection will take place at the coffee bar, located on the left side as you enter the building. A staff member will have a list of all participants, simply show a valid ID (ID card, driver’s licence, or passport) and you will receive your certificate. We kindly ask everyone to collect their certificate during these hours. If you are unable to make it, it will still be possible to pick it up the following day, although we kindly ask everyone to come on the 8th if possible.

What should I do if I can't pick up my starting ticket on January 8th and 9th?

It is then possible to collect your starting ticket on the day itself at the registration desk. But make sure to bring your ID.

Where and when does the run find place?

On Sunday January 11th, registration at 1:00 PM and the start is at 1:30 PM. Please ensure you arrive no later than 1:15 PM so you can collect the sticker for your distance on the day itself. Start and Finish is at the Athletics track, Stadspark (Mulock Houwerlaan 25).

What if the run is cancelled due to exceptional circumstances?

If the event cannot take place due to exceptional circumstances, such as extreme weather, no refunds will be provided. In that case, the full proceeds will be donated to KiKa. See terms and conditions.

Where exactly do the proceeds go?

All proceeds from the event will go to KiKa. By participating, you'll contribute to important research into childhood cancer.

Can I cancel my registration?

If you wish to cancel your registration and are therefore unable to attend the event, no refunds will be provided. In that case, the proceeds will go to KiKa. See general terms and conditions.

What should I wear?

You can leave your belongings in the clubhouse. However, this is at your own risk. We'll do our best to keep an eye on things, but it's best to leave valuables at home.
